Festivals

There is a saying – utsava priya manavah: People like festivals. We are inherently attracted to festivals because every day in the spiritual world is a festival, every step a dance, every word a song. Fortunately Srila Prabhupada gave us so many festivals, which we like to attend and talk about. These festivals and auspicious days are regarded as “mothers of devotion” as one has the opportunity to make rapid spiritual advancement , much like when there is a sale at the store.
